Why a dedicated crate bed is different
A crate tray is hard, and many thin pads compress quickly under a large dog. Barker Beds builds the OrthoLift around a 4-inch foam structure so the dog is not resting directly against the metal or plastic base.
Measure the crate before ordering
The current size guide is designed around common crate footprints. Measure the inside tray itself and leave the manufacturer’s intended clearance around the edges. Do not assume an XL dog automatically needs an XL crate bed.
Daily use and cleaning
