Petcube Cam is the budget fixed camera. Cam 360 is the better general-purpose single-room camera because it can rotate. Play 2 adds laser interaction. Bites 2 Lite adds treat tossing.
Start with the interaction you actually want
If you only need to check whether a pet is resting, eating or waiting by the door, the standard Petcube Cam is enough. If the pet moves around a large room, Cam 360 reduces blind spots by letting you redirect the lens remotely.
Play 2 and Bites 2 Lite are more specialized. Play 2 makes sense for a pet that enjoys laser play. Bites 2 Lite is built for owners who will genuinely use treat tossing.
Subscription is a separate decision
None of the current Petcube cameras requires a paid Care plan for basic live viewing. Petcube Care adds stored history, smart alerts and other cloud features. That means the hardware choice should be based on camera movement and interaction first, then the Care decision can be made separately.

- One active room: Cam 360.
- Interactive laser play: Play 2.
- Remote treats: Bites 2 Lite.
- Several separate rooms: consider two- or three-camera packs instead of expecting one rotating unit to see through walls.
